12 Perfect Hair Buns

We love a good hair bun we do! They look effortless (because they take little effort) yet they still can look very stylish and add that little something extra to your look, adding boho and rocker vibes. They are perfect for bad hairs days with a spritz of dry shampoo. Need we go on?

The Half Bun

This look couldn't be much easier! Use hairspray, plaits, salt spray or your natural waves to create a messy look, then tease the top half of your hair and twist it round into a bun!

The French Plait

Now this style is a lot more fiddly, but looks a whole lot cuter! You'll either need to practice your plaiting/braiding skills or find someone who is pretty nifty at them. You can plait from the sides, from above or tip your head upside and plait from the back!

The Classic Messy Top Knot

For this style create texture by teasing, salt spray or dry shampoo. This look isn't a ballerina bun, it isn't supposed to be overly neat so don't try and perfect the style too much.

Tip: When it comes to having a messy hairstyle, you might want to think about putting more care into your makeup in order to look chic and not sloppy.
